DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL - CRAFT AND OLD QUARTER STORIES
Welcome to Vietnam. On arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, meet your local guide and travel to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village. Here, vivid bundles of incense and the measured work of local artisans offer a first introduction to a craft closely tied to Vietnamese daily life.
Continue into central Hanoi to visit Hoan Kiem Lake and St. Joseph's Cathedral, then explore the Old Quarter on foot. Across its 36 historic streets, traditional shopfronts, local flavours, and the city's lively pace come together in a way that feels distinctly Hanoi.
Ease into the evening over a welcome dinner at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel.

DAY 2: HANOI CRAFT VILLAGES TO HA LONG
After breakfast, visit Bat Trang Pottery Village, home to more than 700 years of ceramic tradition. At the Bat Trang Museum, discover how the craft has evolved, then take part in a hands-on pottery session and shape a small keepsake of your own.
Continue to Mega Grand World, where European-inspired facades, the Venice Canal, and themed districts create a more contemporary contrast to the morning's craft heritage. Enjoy time to explore, photograph the surroundings, or browse the shops at your own pace.
In the afternoon, leave Hanoi for Ha Long. As the city gives way to the coast, the pace begins to slow. On arrival, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel.

DAY 3: HA LONG BAY - A NIGHT ON THE WATER
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the cruise harbour. The limestone landscape of Ha Long Bay gradually opens ahead, setting a quieter rhythm for the day.
Around noon, step aboard your luxury cruise for a welcome drink and briefing. Lunch is served as the cruise moves between limestone karsts, allowing the scenery to unfold without hurry.
In the afternoon, explore one of the bay's limestone caves, shaped over time by stalactites and stalagmites. Back on board, relax on the sundeck and take in the changing light across the water. As evening approaches, enjoy Happy Hour and a Vietnamese cooking demonstration hosted by the onboard chef.
As night settles over the bay, enjoy dinner onboard in the calm of the surrounding seascape.

After breakfast, disembark and travel to Ninh Binh, a journey of approximately 3.5-4 hours. On arrival, board a traditional sampan for a gentle passage through the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, recognised by UNESCO for both its natural and cultural value.
Across more than 2,000 hectares, limestone mountains rise around quiet valleys, rivers, and cave systems. The boat route passes through Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, and Nau Ruou Cave, offering a closer view of the landscape from water level.
After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Hanoi in approximately 2-2.5 hours. Enjoy dinner on arrival before checking in to your hotel.

Return to Sapa Town to visit the Stone Church, then enjoy time at Sapa Minority Market, where local handicrafts and regional specialities offer a considered way to remember the mountains.

DAY 6: FANSIPAN AND RONG MAY GLASS BRIDGE
After breakfast, set out for Fansipan Peak. At 3,143 metres, Vietnam's highest mountain is often known as the Roof of Indochina.
The cable car rises above deep valleys, forested slopes, and mountain ranges before reaching the upper station. Along the way, the Great Buddha Statue and the spiritual complex introduce a quieter, more contemplative side of the journey.
From the station, continue towards the summit by funicular - optional, approximately USD 14 per person for a round trip - or climb the final stone steps. At the peak, wide views extend across the Hoang Lien Son range.
After lunch, continue to Rong May Glass Bridge, positioned around 2,000 metres above sea level. The transparent walkway extends from the mountainside, opening onto cliffs, valleys, and layered peaks in every direction - a memorable perspective for those comfortable with a little height.
