DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL – HANOI CITY TOUR
Welcome to Hanoi, a city best discovered in layers. On arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. Standard check-in is available from 14:00.
Begin gently around Hoan Kiem Lake, where tree-lined paths, heritage buildings and the rhythm of local life offer an easy introduction to the capital. Continue on foot into the Old Quarter, a close-knit maze of narrow streets, traditional shops, small boutiques, hidden cafes and everyday markets. Rather than rushing through a checklist, take time to notice the details that give each street its own character.
Pause at St. Joseph's Cathedral, whose Gothic facade has watched over this part of Hanoi for more than a century, then pass the Hanoi Opera House, an elegant reminder of the city's French colonial architecture.
Close the day with a traditional Water Puppet Show, where live folk music and handcrafted puppets bring scenes of rural life and Vietnamese legends to the stage—a gentle introduction to the country’s storytelling traditions.
